The main characters of the novel The Lord of Flies are Ralph, Jack, Piggy and the beast.
Ralph: He is the protagonist of the novel. He seems to have a lot of charisma for he was voted as the tribe leader twice, also he is very adult like for a twelve year of boy; he is more concerned about staying alive and getting rescued rather than having fun.
Jack: He is antagonist of the novel, the rival of Ralph and the leader of his choir which he later turns it into his tribe people.
Piggy: Piggy is extremely loyal to Ralph, gives good advices to Ralph and he is very kind and smart, but he is disliked by everyone except for Ralph, but even Ralph made fun of him in the beginning.
LOF/Beast: Even though LOF and the beast is not the same thing they are very closely related. LOF represent the evilness and savageness among the boys and the beast represent the fear of the boys
Piggy was my favorite character among all the characters in the book. I liked him because of many reasons, among them pity was one of them; even though he was really smart and had very good ideas, no one listened to him because everyone made fun of him for being fat, or even if they acted out his idea Piggy was not given credit to. Furthermore, his strong loyalty was touching; Piggy was very loyal to Ralph until the end even when Ralph said some bad things about him to him, and even died trying to help Ralph.

I also put Ralph, Piggy, and Jack as the main characters. However, i didn't put the beast as one of the main characters. I agree with what you said about Ralph. he is very adultish/mature as a twelve year old and i also imagined him having a lot of charisma while reading the book. he is totally concerned with getting rescued than having fun like the other boys. Nice Entry~!
